    • PURPOSE: A carbon composite material is provided to ensure low thermal conductivity and excellent interfacial adhesion and to reduce cost. CONSTITUTION: A carbon composite material contains a lyocell-based carbon fiber and a carbon matrix. The lyocell-based carbon fiber contains binder resin. The lyocell-based carbon fiber contains carbonized lyocell fibers. The lyocell-based carbon fiber is surrounded by the carbon matrix. The lyocell-based carbon fiber prepared by thermal treatment at 100-2800 deg. C. The lyocell-based carbon fiber is fabricated in the form of a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a knitted fabric, multi-axial warp knitted fabric, an unidirectional fabric, a web, or a chopped fiber. The binder resin is polyvinyl alcohol resin, epoxy resin, or phenol resin.
