    • Disclosed are a tent pole having a metal layer, and a method for manufacturing the same. The pole comprises a fiber-reinforced core formed by impregnating clustered textile yarns with a thermosetting resin, a coating layer applied on a circumference of the fiber-reinforced core, a metal layer formed on a circumference of the coating layer through a vacuum deposition process, and a resin layer formed on a circumference of the metal layer. The metal layer is deposited on a fabric or a non-woven fabric with a superior affinity under a vacuum condition. The fabric or non-woven fabric is cured together with a clustered textile impregnated with the thermosetting resin prior to the curing of the resin, with the clustered textile enclosed with the fabric or non-woven fabric, so that the metal layer can be formed on the circumference of the fiber-reinforced core without peeling of the metal layer.

    • PURPOSE: A pole for tent and a method for producing the same are provided to obtain excellent appearance, to prevent deterioration caused by UV light and to improve durability by comprising metallic vacuum evaporation deposit(MVD) layer in order to implement continuous production process. CONSTITUTION: The pole comprises a fiber reinforced core(1) made of multiple bundles of reinforced fiber impregnated with thermo-curing resin; a coating cover layer(2) to enclose outer circumference of the core(1); and MVD layer(3). The pole further includes a coating resin layer(4) prepared by the thermo-curing resin impregnated into the core(1), the coating cover layer(2) and micropores of the MVD layer(3). The resin layer(4) can be rigidly connected to the core(1) through a number of micro-pores substantially not to release the coating, therefore, enables a stable condition of the coating cover layer or the MVD layer by the coating resin layer.
