    • PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling a temperature of washing water are provided to improve the washing efficiency at an initial washing and to prevent unnecessary power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(7) contains a rinsing water temperature discriminating unit(71); a washing water level discriminating unit(72); a rinsing water level discriminating unit(73); a timer(74); a washing water temperature control unit(75); a rinsing pump driving command unit(76); a hydroelectric valve driving command unit(77); and a booster driving command unit(78). A water level of rinsing water is detected. The rising water is supplemented and a booster is driven by turning on a hydroelectric valve when the rinsing water is not filled enough. Otherwise, a state of the hydroelectric valve is detected. In turning on the hydroelectric valve, the hydroelectric valve is turned off. In turning off the hydroelectric valve, a temperature of the rinsing water is detected. The booster is operated continuously until the temperature of the rising water reaches a specific temperature. The heated rinsing water is inserted into a washing tub.

    • PURPOSE: A shower apparatus and controlling method for water supply in a dishwasher is provided which can improve overall washability by shooting off wash water from the upper part of the wash chamber, and reduce the whole operation time and the amount of electricity consumed by applying shower type water supply at the early stage of the flushing operation step so that flushing operation may be repeated less. CONSTITUTION: A shower apparatus for water supply in a dishwasher is comprised of a flow channel(20) connected to the upper part of a washing chamber(1), and water supply projection discs(30) having a plural voids which is installed at the end part of the flow channel(20), thereby shower type water supply from the upper part of the washing chamber is possible. A water supply controlling method includes the steps: supplying a certain amount of wash water needed for operation of the each steps such as washing and flushing; carrying out washing and flushing operation for determined time with the supplied wash water then draining the water; and supplying fresh wash water again into the wash chamber to practice the next operation. The controlling method is characterized in carrying out at least once or more times of shower type water supply at the early stage of a flushing step.
