    • PURPOSE: A guide post and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve buckling or bending efficiency, restoring force, durability, flexibility and buffering effect by making the guide post of EVA(Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) resin with the uneven tubular pipe structure. CONSTITUTION: A guide post(1) for displaying various traffic signs of a road is manufactured by injection-molding EVA resin and a foaming agent. Uneven parts(4) are formed in the guide post, and the inner part of the guide post is composed of a hollow part(6) and an uneven hollow part(6a). The uneven parts are placed in the lower part of the guide post and arranged in the uneven hollow part. A cavity is formed between upper and lower molds, and a core is embedded in the cavity. EVA resin is put in the mold, and injection-molded to manufacture the guide post. The core is separated from the product easily by expansion from instantaneous foaming in opening the upper mold and the lower mold.
