According to the present invention, a relatively small amount of energy is necessary for separating food waste effluent as the food waste effluent is separated into solids and liquid by heating the waste cooking oil. In addition, the solids are prevented from absorbing moisture again as oil films are formed on the separated solids by the waste cooking oil.
