    • The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating food waste effluent comprising: a heating tank having an accommodation space therein to accommodate waste cooking oil and having a heating source at a lower part to heat the accommodated waste cooking oil; a food waste effluent supply line for supplying food waste effluent into the accommodation space inside the heating tank; a steam discharge line intercommunicating with the upper part of the accommodation space inside the heating tank to discharge the steam of the food waste effluent vaporized by the heated waste cooking oil and transfer the steam of the food waste effluent to a food waste effluent treatment tank; a waste cooking oil discharge line intercommunicating with the lower part of the accommodation space of the heating tank to discharge the waste cooking oil and solids contained in the waste cooking oil; a waste cooking oil storage tank connected to the waste cooking oil discharge line to store the discharged waste cooking oil, separate, by a filter formed inside, the solids contained in the waste cooking oil and store the solids; and a waste cooking oil supply line for supplying the waste cooking oil, which is stored in the waste cooking oil storage tank, to the heating tank by connecting the waste cooking oil storage tank to the heating tank. According to the present invention, a relatively small amount of energy is necessary for separating food waste effluent as the food waste effluent is separated into solids and liquid by heating the waste cooking oil. In addition, the solids are prevented from absorbing moisture again as oil films are formed on the separated solids by the waste cooking oil.
