    • The present invention relates to a detection method for nitrate concentration among water quality measurement methods and, more particularly, to a simple and swift detection method to measure the nitrate concentration using absorption spectrophotometry and colorimetric assay for colors produced through reaction and color-staining processes by adding a nitrate detection reagent to a sample containing nitrate and a collected sample. The present invention provides the following steps. A color change is induced by adding a set amount of the nitrate detection reagent comprising anhydrous magnesium sulfate, zinc powder, sulfanilic acid, copper (II) sulfate, carboxylic acid and monobasic potassium phosphate. The absorption spectrophotometry is used to detect the nitrate concentration based on the degree of the induced color change.

    • PURPOSE: A detection method of high concentration of phosphate is provided to have the effect of drastically excluding the influence of the interference by other types of ions possibly generated in measurement. CONSTITUTION: A detection method of the phosphate concentration comprises a process of adding a predetermined amount of a detecting reagent formed by mixing potassium pyrosulfate, ascorbic acid, molybdate and tartrate to a sample including phosphate of low concentration to be measured, and reacting to induce color change, and a process of comparing the induced color change level with a color scale to a standard solution. The detection method of the phosphate concentration comprises a process of adding a predetermined amount of a detecting reagent formed by mixing potassium pyrosulfate, ascorbic acid, molybdate and tartrate to a sample including phosphate of low concentration to be measured, and reacting to induce color change, and a process of measuring the induced color change level by using the absorption photometery.
