    • A mapping method and a puncturing method for a cell specific reference signal are provided to make a receiver estimate a channel by using the cell specific reference signal by providing a simplified puncturing regulation for removing waste data generated when transmitting the cell specific reference signal. A first parameter is deduced based on a corresponding symbol index and a slot index(S102). A second parameter is deduced based on the corresponding hopping ID index. A third parameter is deduced based on a corresponding antenna index. A mapping address is calculated by using the value multiplying the weighted value corresponding to the second parameter by the result to perform the modulus 2 operation of the sum of the first parameter and the third parameter(S103). The cell specific address is mapped to a corresponding slot by using the mapping address(S104).

    • A method for transmitting a signal and information of an antenna, and a method for estimating the number of antennas are provided to enable a mobile station to demodulate a BCH(Broadcast Channel) as channel response obtained through a SCH(Synchronization Channel) by applying the multiple free coding vectors to the BCH and SCH timely close to each other. A base station creates a plurality of SCH symbols out of a cell group identifier and a cell identifier, at this time a part of information about the number of transmission antennas is added to the synchronization channel symbols(S210). The base station creates BCH symbols out of the rest information about the number of transmission antennas(S220). The base station creates a downstream frame by disposing the SCH symbols and the BCH symbols in a symbol section respectively(S230). And the base station transmits the downstream frame(S240).

    • A method for generating a downlink signal, and a method for searching a cell are provided to perform a rapid synchronization acquisition and a cell search by dividing one frame into a plurality of synchronization blocks and arranging a different synchronization identifying sequence in each synchronization block. The frame synchronization identifying sequence includes a plurality of orthogonal identifying codes corresponding to the plurality of repeated patterns. The downlink signal generating step includes the step of generating the downlink signal by multiplying the plurality of orthogonal identifying codes by the plurality of repeated patterns.
