    • A primer composition comprises (I) a modified copolymer obtainable by addition of a polar group represented by the following formula (1) or (2) to at least one (co)polymer selected from an olefin (co)polymer, a halogenated olefin (co)polymer, a styrene/conjugated diene/styrene tri-block copolymer or its hydrogenated product and a halogenated styrene/conjugated diene/styrene tri-block copolymer or its hydrogenated product, wherein the modified copolymer contains the polar group in an amount of from 1x10 to 250x10 mol based on 100 g of the modified copolymer, and (II) an organic solvent;in the formulas (1) and (2), R is hydrogen or an alkyl group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R is an alkylene group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms and n is an integer of 1 to 20.The present invention can provide the primer composition having excellent adhesion between polyolefin molded articles or steel plates, which are substrates (coated objects), and various materials (coating materials, adhesives and the like) and further having excellent storage stability and pigment-loading properties.

    • PURPOSE: Provided are a device and a method for modifying a polymer surface using atmospheric plasma, which is economically and ecologically favorable and is suitable for an in-line system. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a first electrode(21); a second electrode(22); and a spraying duct(23) disposed between the first electrode(21) and the second electrode(22) and formed of a dielectric body providing a space for generating plasma, wherein the plasma(29) is generated by applying an AC power to both electrodes so as to cause the discharge in the reaction gases introduced to the spraying duct(23), and the plasma(29) is sprayed to a polymer(26) so that the surface of the polymer is modified. In addition, the method for modifying a polymer surface by using atmospheric plasma substitutes for the step using an organic solvent or an organic primer before the adhesion step, or excludes the washing and drying steps.

    • PURPOSE: A method for joining aluminum preform is provided to enhance the initial adhesive power and durability, to improve the working environment and to reduce the processing cost without employing the acid treatment by using an organic primary amine silane. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of dipping the surface of aluminum preform to be joined into an organic primary amine silane aqueous solution for 10-30 min; washing the aluminum preform; leaving it at a 50-70 deg.C for about 30-90 min; coating an adhesive to it; and adhering it to another aluminum matter. The organic primary amine silane aqueous solution is prepared by mixing 1-5 vol% of a primary amine silane; 25 vol% of methanol; and 70-75 vol% of distilled water, and stirring the mixture homogeneously. Preferably the organic primary amine silane is triethoxypropylamine silane.
