The lid of the cooking vessel of the present invention improves the adhesion of a packing inserted in and coupled with the lid. The pressure discharging valve for discharging pressure from the inside of the cooking vessel is coupled with the top of the lid. High pressure generated during cooking is discharged to the outside. When cooking is finished, external air is prevented from being fed into the cooking vessel, so that the inside of the cooking vessel can be effectively made into a vacuum state.
