    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind velocity measuring device capable of: obtaining a wind velocity distribution without spending a large amount of time for measuring wind velocities in comparison with a conventional wind velocity measuring device using a traverse device; also obtaining the same without spending a large amount of time and effort for measurement setup in comparison with the conventional wind velocity measuring device which measures wind velocities by installing many wind gauges at respective measuring points; and solving a problem with a conventional wind-tunnel test device using pressure-sensitive paper.SOLUTION: A wind velocity measuring device 40 comprises: a camera 43 which images pressure-sensitive coating material 41 on a wind-tunnel test model 30 placed under a blast environment with the pressure-sensitive coating material 41 applied thereto; a wind pressure identification section 44b which identifies wind pressure on the wind-tunnel test model 30 on the basis of a change in luminescence property of the pressure-sensitive coating material 41 by analyzing a captured image thereof; and a wind velocity calculation section 44c which calculates a wind velocity by a blast on the basis of the wind pressure identified by the wind pressure identification section 44b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal/vertical wind anemometer capable of measuring both vertical component and horizontal component of wind, and capable of simultaneously measuring the speed of the wind by mounting a propeller on its end, and provide a method for efficient wind power generation. SOLUTION: This horizontal/vertical wind anemometer is provided with the propeller 2, a rotary shaft 3, and a wind speed detector 4. A horizontal shaft 5 and a wind-direction vertical component detector 7 are provided for measuring the direction of wind. Four tail fins 8 are mounted on a body 1 as shown in Fig. 1. A U-shaped support 9 and a support 11 are provided for supporting the body 1 of the anemometer, a pedestal 14 for supporting the anemometer, and a wind-direction horizontal component detector 13 for measuring the direction of the wind. The shaft 5 is adapted to pass through the center of gravity of the body 1 and through the detector 7. Further, a gravity-center adjusting lever 12 is provided on this. The direction and speed of the wind are detected by the detectors and transmitted to an electronic circuit board 20 by using wires 10 to convert them into numberical values. Changes in the direction and speed of the wind are displayed or recorded by a data processor 15.
