    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working face reinforcement member, having simple structure and inexpensive, and an economical reinforcement construction method using it.
      SOLUTION: This working face reinforcement member (a), (a') has a pointed part a1 at the tip of a steel rod and a steel-made thick disc part a2 at the back end, which has a larger diameter than the steel rod. This reinforcement construction method for a tunnel working face includes: a drilling process of excavating a drilled hole 3 in the working face 2; a powder charging process of installing the working face reinforcement member (a) as claimed in claim 1 in the drilled hole 3 and installing explosives 4, 4' in the rear thereof; and a blasting process of blasting the explosives 4, 4' to accelerate excavation for the working face, and causing the working face reinforcement member (a) to penetrate the natural ground in the front of the working face 2.
