    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine bearing structure where a rotation torque on a shaft can be reduced by securing the relative displacement of bearings so as to perform relative displacement of the bearings in a state the bearing is fixed to the seat surface of a machine body, so as to reduce an unnecessary load on the shaft. SOLUTION: The sewing machine bearing structure is provided with: a needle bar 21 capable of holding a needle 20; a hook 5 linked with the needle bar 21; the shaft making the needle bar 21 or the hook 5 operate; and a first bearing 7B and a second bearing 8 which are provided apart by a prescribed distance and supports the shaft rotatably. Either or both of the first bearing 7B and the second bearing 8 is provided with: a cylindrical shaft insertion part 71 having a shaft hole 70 holding the shaft rotatably; a seating part 72 fixed to the machine body 1 by a fixation element 74; and an elastic connection part 73 which connects the shaft insertion part 71 and the seating part 72.       SOLUTION: In the sewing machine which is provided with a bed part 2 comprising a body bed part 6 and a cylinder bed part 8, a thread cutting drive part 102, the hook shaft 26, a drive shaft 22 which is orthogonal to the hook shaft while driving the hook shaft, a gear device 24 which transmits driving forces to the hook shaft from the drive shaft, a hook 28 mounted at the tip of the hook shaft 26, a dynamic knife 120 for catching and cutting needle threads and a link element 50 with both ends 50a and 50b thereof linked to the thread cutting drive part and the dynamic knife and has at least the hook shaft 26, the gear device 24, the hook 28 and the dynamic knife 120 within the cylinder bed part 8, the intermediate part of the link element 50 is so arranged as to pass through spaces S1 and S2 between the hook 28 and the gear device 24.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of high manufacturing costs caused by a complex structure and a large noise in a semi rotary needle bed driving device for reciprocating a rack member by causing a follower to follow a cam fixed to a main spindle so as to swing a link member and driving a semi rotary needle bed around a horizontal axial center orthogonal to the rotating axial center of the main spindle. SOLUTION: A semi rotary needle bed driving device 30 is provided with a driving pulley 31 fixed to a main spindle 5, a follower pulley 33 pivoted around a horizontal axial center (c) orthogonal to the rotating axial center (a) of the main spindle, a timing belt 40 hung on the driving pulley 31 and the follower pulley 33 in a 90 deg. twisted state, a pinion 45 provided to be fixed in a semi rotary needle bed 7, a rack member 47 having a rack 46 meshed with the pinion 45, a horizontal arm 48 fixed in the rack member 47 so as to be moved in a right direction, and a crank mechanism 50 for converting the rotation of the follower pulley 33 into the reciprocating movement of the rack member 47 via the horizontal arm 48.
