摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a drawn glass bulb with little unevenness in wall thickness, drawn dimension, etc., by inserting a round bar of amaterial slightly compatible with glass vertically into a glass tube having one closed end, and softening a given part under heating to form a drawn part. CONSTITUTION:A glass tube 25 after closing one end in the preceding step is fed by a feeding table 30, and a round bar 24 is vertically inserted thereinto. The sound bar 24 consists of a carbon based material slightly compatible with glass, and formed into a stepped shape having an insertion part with an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the glass tube 25. The glass tube 25 and round bar 24 are pushed up and positioned by a positioning member 31, and a given position of the glass tube 25 is heated by a rotating burner 32. Thus, a molten and softened part is drawn by lowering automatically the round bar 24 by a dimension (l1) to form a drawn part (25B) along the round bar 24. The resultant drawn part (25B) is then annealed to remove the glass tube 25, and the drawn part (25B) is cut to give the aimed drawn glass bulb.

摘要： PURPOSE:To cheaply obtain the title dielectric easy to exchange at the time of a trouble by attaching an electrically conductive film and a lead wire to the inside of a glass tube; putting a cylindrical metal thin film into the tube; heat softening the tube; and forming it into a plate shape owing to the empty wt. or external force. CONSTITUTION:A necessary portion of the inner wall of glass tube 31 is covered with electrically conductive film 32 or a soln. prepared by dissolving graphite powder in an aq. glass soln. Next metal thin film 33 such as aluminum foil as an auxiliary electrode is put into tube 31 while in contact with film 32, and lead wire 35 is inserted. Tubes 31 are then set between two graphite plates 36, heated to the softening temp. of glass in heating furnace 37, deformed into a plate shape owing to external force or the like, and cooled slowly. Laminated mica paper coated with graphite powder or asbestos paper may be held between stainless steel and each tube 31 in place of plates 36. Thus, small size dielectrics are cheaply obtd. which are easily maintained and inspected, and are suitable for use in a flat platelike ozonizer.
