摘要： PURPOSE:To enable high concn. O3 to be generated without lowering ozonization efficiency by setting a NOx absorber between a raw gas supply part and an ozonized gas discharge part in generation of O3 between a dielectric placed between electrodes and each of the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:In closed loop system 21 between raw gas inlet 8 and ozonized gas outlet 9, fan 22, cooler 23 and NOx absorber 24 are connected in series. Raw gas passed through regulation valve 27 and branched part 25 is ozonized by corona discharge in space 5, drawn with fan 22 through branched part 26, cooled 23, and passed through absorber 24 to absorption-remove NOx contained. The ozonized gas is then introduced into space 5 again through part 25 and circulated through system 21. By repeating the processes NOx are absorption-removed. Supply of raw gas and discharge of NOx-free ozonized gas are carried out by regulating the internal press. of the ozonizing part and the vol. of raw gas supplied with regulation valves 27, 28, respectively.

摘要： PURPOSE:To cheaply obtain the title dielectric easy to exchange at the time of a trouble by attaching an electrically conductive film and a lead wire to the inside of a glass tube; putting a cylindrical metal thin film into the tube; heat softening the tube; and forming it into a plate shape owing to the empty wt. or external force. CONSTITUTION:A necessary portion of the inner wall of glass tube 31 is covered with electrically conductive film 32 or a soln. prepared by dissolving graphite powder in an aq. glass soln. Next metal thin film 33 such as aluminum foil as an auxiliary electrode is put into tube 31 while in contact with film 32, and lead wire 35 is inserted. Tubes 31 are then set between two graphite plates 36, heated to the softening temp. of glass in heating furnace 37, deformed into a plate shape owing to external force or the like, and cooled slowly. Laminated mica paper coated with graphite powder or asbestos paper may be held between stainless steel and each tube 31 in place of plates 36. Thus, small size dielectrics are cheaply obtd. which are easily maintained and inspected, and are suitable for use in a flat platelike ozonizer.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve performance of ozone generator, it is provided with wick which contacts with inner periphery surface of a dielectric tube and a cooling tube is inserted inside of the dielectric tube, along the axis of the tube so that operating fluid causes to flow toward inner diameter of the dielectric tube. CONSTITUTION:Wick 16 contacts with an inner surface of an dielectric tube 15 in an ozone tube 12. Therefore, the wick 16 is wholly wet with vaporizing liquid such as water. Silent discharge occurs at an outer surface of the ozone tube 12 and generates heat. The generated heat causes pure water to vaporize from the inner wall surface of the dielectric tube 15. The water vaporization effects cooling of the inner wall. Water vapor condenses on the surface of a cooling tube 18, then waterdrops form and grow to a certain size and fall down as indicated by arrow 22. The fallen waterdeops reach the bottom of the wick 16, then permeate the whole space through strong capillary action of the wick 16. This maintains the wick 16 at a constant wetness. This function as described, i.e., heat pipe action, contributes to an effective and safe internal cooling operation of the ozone tube 12.

Each of said spacers 7 is formed by bending a spring steel sheet having about 0.1-0.2mm. thickness. The sheet is provided with both edge parts 9 at both sides of the body 8 and a central part 10.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prepare the titled discharge electrode with a low thermal energy at a low cost, by molding a tubelike material of an electrical lead glass having an electrically conductive film and a lead wire attached on the inner surface thereof into a plate in a nonoxidizing atmosphere under heating. CONSTITUTION:Graphite powder is applied to the inner surface of a tubelike material 6a of an electrical lead glass having a softening point of 650 deg.C or below to form an electrically conductive film 10. A metallic thin film 11, e.g. an Al foil, is inserted into the material 6a to be in contact with the film 10, and a lead wire 8 is then inserted to be in contact with the film 11. The resultant tubelike material 6a is then inserted into a mold 12 consisting of graphite plates or metallic materials coated with graphite and placed on the top and bottom of the mold and the tubelike material is heated to the softening point of the glass in an enclosed heating furnace 13 in a nonoxidizing atmosphere. The tubelike material 6a is then deformed into a plate 6 by the own weight of the mold 12, and cooled slowly to give a discharge electrode 5 containing a dielectric material 6.

Electrode 4 is made of electrically conductive plate and provided with supports 6 each having a stainless steel wool elastic filler and supports 7 each housing similar filler 7b in a case to prevent deformation. Feed gas from inlet 1j is ozonized through chamber 1d and spaces 5, and sent out of outlet 1K through chamber 1f. Thus, exchange of dielectrics 3 is facilitated as compared to a conventional flat platelike ozonizer.
