    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check the seal force by a rubber plug 4 by detecting a load FB after seaming.
      SOLUTION: A container (vial 2) where a rubber plug 4 is pressed for closing is capped with a metal cap 12. In a condition where the plug 4 is depressed by loading the cap 12 using a pressure block 10 from the top face part 12b side of the cap 12, the bottom (the bottom end 12c of a cylindrical part 12a) of the cap 12 is folded inward and seamed by a seaming roller 14. After this, because the plug 4 expands when the load on the top face part 12b is released, this dislocation amount S1 is detected. The depressed amount HA of the plug 4 relative to a load FO in capping is obtained from a load-rubber plug depress curve stored in advance. By subtracting the amount S1 from the amount HA, and from the amount HB obtained by subtracting using the curve, a corresponding load FB is obtained. This load is regarded as the seal load after capping.
