    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal wire let-off device in which a risk such that deformation, damage, breaking and so on occur in a metal wire fed out from a winding wire bobbin can be reduced.SOLUTION: A metal wire let-off device 1 in which a main spindle 4 is rotatably provided at the center of a vertically disposed winding wire bobbin 2 via a flyer frame 3, an arm 5, which extends in a radial direction of the winding wire bobbin 2, is provided to the main spindle 4, a first guide 7 for guiding a metal wire 6 is provided to the tip of the arm 5, and a second guide 8 for guiding the metal wire 6 from the first guide 7 is provided onto an upper part of the main spindle 4, and in which the main spindle 4 and the arm 5 are rotated, whereby the metal wire 6 of the winding wire bobbin 2 is fed out from the first guide 7 through the second guide 8. In the metal wire let-off device 1, the first guide 7 and the second guide 8 are equipped with a rotatable guide roller 23 for guiding the metal wire 6.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy attachment of a package on a spinning machine.SOLUTION: In a spinning unit 2 constituting a spinning machine 1, a package attachment unit 12 is provided in a passage area R for operator located in the front of a machine base 10 on which a draft apparatus 11, an air-spinning apparatus 15, a convey roller 16 and a winding apparatus 17 are arranged. The package attachment unit 12 is provided with a peg 44 on which a package P is to be attached. The package P which is attached to the peg 44 is held substantially horizontally at its axis. A core yarn C unwound from the package P is led via a yarn guide roller 14 arranged behind the peg 44 into a core yarn guiding mechanism 13 arranged almost directly above the draft apparatus 11 and then into the draft apparatus 11 from the core yarn guiding mechanism 13. The peg 44 can be adjusted at its angle with respect to the cross direction and also at its position in the cross direction.
