    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate an existing tube by efficiently forming a spiral tube composed of a strip in the existing tube while certainly preventing the cut of the cable protective pipe, when regenerating the existing tube in a situation that a cable protective pipe for telecommunication cables and the like is already laid in the existing tube.
      SOLUTION: A buoyancy layer 1 is formed on the outer peripheral face of the cable protective pipe P laid in the existing tube K by sequentially installing the foamed polystyrene tube 2 and the perforated pipe 3, and the cable protective pipe P is surfaced on the running water that runs down the existing tube K. Next, the spiral strip 100 is turned to the surfaced cable protective pipe P so as to be wound around to hold the pipe P therein. Subsequently, mutual joints of the spiral strips 100 that adjoin mutually are joined to one another to make the spiral tube, and with the formed spiral tube left as it is, the strip is newly supplied to its front to sequentially and additionally form the spiral tube and thus form the spiral tube continuously.
