    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for forming a corrugated fin, which apparatus can form a two-dimensional continuous and stable flat shape at bent portions, and further to provide a forming method using the same.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus for forming the corrugated fin comprises forming members 3 which have an almost rectangular cross sectional shape and form the inside surface side of bent portions 1b, worms 2 which are connected so as to make the forming members 3 slide and rotate, successively move the forming members 3 from one side to the other side and gradually reduce the distance between the neighboring forming members 3, and a reference member 4 to be arranged so as to bring the upper end surfaces of the bent portions 1b into contact with a reference surface, wherein the worms 2 are configured such that the intervals between neighboring forming members 3 are gradually reduced to a required pitch of the fin by being turned, and the upper end surfaces of the bent portions 1b are formed to a required shape after arranging a plurality of the bent portions 1b on the forming members 3. By this configuration, the bent portions can be formed so as to have the continuous and stable flat shape.
