A suction port 1 is made connectable to the secondary side of the suction passage 16, and a second holding part 22 is provided on the other end side of the support 7. Accordingly, with the vacuum cleaner body 5 housed in the housing part 6 of the support 7, it is usable as a stick type suction cleaner. In addition, the vacuum cleaner body 5 is usable as a hand-held suction cleaner, or as a non-suction cleaner in which dust scraped up by rotation of the rotary brush 24 is accumulated in the second dust collecting part 33. The air is exhausted from an exhaust path located at the upper part of the main body after passing through a grill with many holes.
