A high frequency IF amplification signal is extracted from the output side of a high frequency IF amplification circuit 54 by the amprification in an IF amplifier and the filtering in a band-pass filter 58 to convert down this signal of IF of the intermediate frequency in a mixer 60. The output signal is amplified by an IF amplifier 66 and passes through a change-over type band-pass filter 68 and an image detector so that the trigger signal can be easily selected and detected from various types of signals.

Even when the span or period if the sweeping signal is changed, the center voltage is not changed, and thereby the center frequency of an objective band is always positioned on the center of the display screen without executing specific operation and no display error is generated.

A display device 27, depending on the output (c), displays the entire content of the device 23 at the same time and also displays a frequency data received at present from a station data storage section 6.
