摘要： PURPOSE:To set charging pressure arbitrarily and manufacture a tubular bulb having a high charged pressure by performing the charging work of charged gas into a bulb being the enclosure of the tubular bulb through a different path from a path for evacuating work. CONSTITUTION:After the bulb 4 of a tubular bulb enclosure mounted to a head 9 is evacuated by a vacuum unit 6, an electromagnetic valve 8 is closed and an electromagnetic valve 10 is opened. The head 9 is connected to a gas charging unit 12 via the valve 10 and a rotary joint 11 so as to charge charged gas into the bulb 4. Then the valve 8 is closed, so that no charged gas is allowed to be transmitted to center valves 1, 2 via the head 9, and on the other hand the pressure resistance of the valve 10 and the joint 11 is set than that of the valves 1, 2. Accordingly no destruction of charging pass airtightness is allowed even though the charging pressure of the gas is set high, and the high pressure charged gas is charged into the bulb 4. Thereby it is possible to manufacture the tubular bulb having the high charged pressure of the gas.
