      SOLUTION: The alarm and monitoring device of a sluice gate includes: a signal detection unit which is inserted between an alarm device for issuing an alarm during opening and closing of the sluice gate and an output control device, and detects an electric current supplied from the output control device to the alarm device and obtain a current value, when an alarm is issued; a determination unit which, when the output control device instructs the alarm device to issue an alarm, determines whether an electric current has been supplied to the alarm device, on the basis of a detection result of the signal detection unit; and an output unit for outputting the determination result of the determination unit.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment whose reliability is improved by diagnosing the disconnection of a speaker by an inexpensive means without giving any sense of discomfort to a user, and, when it is detected that the speaker is disconnected, notifying a user of the detection result by an LED and an external output.
      SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with a sensor such as a gas sensor and a fire sensor, a microcomputer 10 for selecting sound source data by controlling a sound source IC 27 when it is determined that any abnormality is generated according to a detection signal from the sensor, an amplifier circuit 29 for amplifying the sound source data to be outputted from the sound source IC 27, a speaker 30 connected to the amplifier circuit 29 for outputting a warning sound based on the sound source data and a speaker failure check circuit 28 for outputting a test signal to the speaker 30. The microcomputer 10 is provided with a failure determination means 17 which makes the speaker failure check circuit 28 output the test signal, and diagnoses that the speaker 30 is normal at the time of detecting that the test signal flows through the speaker 30.
