摘要： PURPOSE:To detect the number of rotations of a rotary body by a simple circuit, by providing the rotary body, a magnetic fluid, a coil, an impedance detection part or the like. CONSTITUTION:A rotary body 1 having two end surfaces vertical to a rotary shaft 5 and an outer periphery going from one end surface toward the other end surface so as to expand in a tapered shape along the rotary shaft 5 is provided so as to be made freely rotatable with respect to the rotary shaft 5. Further, the magnetic fluid confined in the rotary body 1, the coil 2 magnetically coupling with the fluid 2 and an impedance detection part 4 for detecting the change in the impedance of the coil 3 are provided. When the rotary body 1 rotates, the fluid 2 moves in the coil 3 along the tapered inner surface of the rotary body 1 until the gravity acting on the fluid 2 and centrifugal force due to rotation become a well-balance state. Therefore, the flux density in the coil 3 changes by the moved fluid 2 and the impedance of the coil 3 also changes. By detecting the changed impedance by the detection part 4, the number of rotations of the rotary body 1 can be detected.
