    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capture structure of a capture portion which captures a flying object launched from a launching pad by the capture portion of a projectile. SOLUTION: In a rear end surface of a flying object capture portion 14 which is made of soft steel having a hardness of 15-30 HRC and has an outer shape with a protruded central portion whose front and rear central portions are bulged, a hole portion 15 having a plurality of tapered angles which are gradually increased in a front side and having a shape corresponding to a distal end shape of the flying object is formed. Upon capturing the flying object, the flying object capture portion 14 is deformed in a radial direction and an energy of a flying object 2 is directed in a frontward direction so that the surface of the flying object capture portion 14 is prevented from being applied with an excessive force. Furthermore, a stepped engaging portion 17 for fixing the flying object capture portion 14 to a projectile is formed in a rear end surface of the flying object capture portion 14 thus preventing an axial offset between the flying object 2 and the flying object capturing portion 14 at the time of capturing the flying object.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain easy-to-handle grenade which can be shot instantaneously while lessening damage on a person being shot by providing a head section at the forward end of a tubular section and a bullet trap for capturing a bullet launched from the muzzle in the tubular section. SOLUTION: Since the powderless grenade 10 has a heat section 2 made of an elastic material and a tubular section 1 made of a soft material, e.g. resin, damage on a person being shot can be reduced. Since the forward end of the head section 2 is rounded, flying characteristics of the grenade 10 are enhanced and damage on a person being shot can be reduced. When the material and shape of the head section 2 are selected appropriately, damage on a person being shot can be reduced as compared with a case where a solid bullet 30 is loaded thus realizing low fatality or nonfatality. Since it is not required to replace a blank cartridge by a solid bullet 30 but simply required to fix a powderless grenade 10 to the muzzle, instantaneous shooting can be realized at the time of warning, self-guard or emergency evacuation shot.

    • PURPOSE: To previously prevent a shooter's danger upon shooting a grenade by a method wherein a bullet passage plug is located at a position separated by a predetermined distance from the back surface of a chamber at a keeping position of a grenade, and an additional explosive is disposed to be confined around the plug. CONSTITUTION: A bullet passage plug 11 is disposed separately by a distance D from a back surface 14 in a chamber 13, and the thickness B of the bullet passage plug 11 is larger than the length L of an additional explosive 12, and further the additional explosive 12 is completely closed in an annular cavity 15 with the bullet passage plug 11 in itself. With such a bullet passage there is quite prevented any matter from being disappeared owing to tearing and dissolution upon combustion even when the bullet passes through the passage. Further, the passage can be enough expanded during the passage of the bullet. As a result, an operator is prevented from being injured upon the grenade being shot.
