摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent advancement of a firing pin during advancement of a bolt and percussion before closing. CONSTITUTION: A firing pin 10 has an engaging projection 11. When a tip end of the firing pin is positioned in a standby position back from a front face of a bolt 5, the engaging projection 11 engages with a back face of an inverted gaff 13 to be retained against advancement. A lock 19 for preventing rising of the inverted gaff 13 is movable between a lock position where it projects above the inverted gaff 13 and an unlock position where it is back from the inverted gaff 13, and is biased forward by a lock spring 1.5. While the bolt 5 advances, the lock 19 is in the lock position to lock the inverted gaff 13. Accordingly, even oscillation, shock and the like produced during the advancement of the bolt 5 will not permit the inverted gaff to rise, so that the firing pin 10 is prevented from advancing. The lock 19 abuts against a lock release 21 immediately before the bolt 5 reaches an end of advancement, and the lock 19 is moved to the unlock position to unlock the inverted gaff 13 while the bolt 5 advances toward the end of advancement.
