    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in a temperature of a heat-resistant glass cylinder incorporating a red heat body, improve the durability of the heat- resistant glass cylinder, and make usable a heat-resistant glass cylinder whose heat-resistant temperature is remarkably lower than those of conventional ones. SOLUTION: This radiant heater is provided, on its burner part, with a heat- resistant glass cylinder incorporating a red heat body which has an inner/outer double-cylindrical structure consisting of an inside red heat cylinder and an outside red heat cylinder. In this radiant heater, an annular plate 47 whose central portion is opened is provided between the burner part 11 and the heat- resistant glass cylinder 13. The inside red heat cylinder 12A is provided upright at an edge portion of a central opening 48 of the annular plate 47, and the outside red heat cylinder 12B is provided upright on the annular plate 47 at an intermediate position between this inside red heat cylinder 12A and the heat-resistant glass cylinder 13. According to this constitution, an increase in a temperature of the heat-resistant cylinder can be suppressed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical waste oil stove generating no smoke substantially, by a method wherein supplied liquid state waste oil is evaporated in a combustion chamber and the convection of air, supplied into the combustion chamber, is generated to burn the waste oil efficiently. SOLUTION: Air, sent into a pipe 11 by a fan, is sent out of holes, provided on the surface of the pipe 11. The convection of eddy stream of sent-out air is generated in a combustion chamber by a semi-circular air stream control plate 13. On the other hand, waste oil, introduced by a flow passage 14 along the wall surface of the combustion chamber, is evaporated in the combustion chamber 1. Accordingly, the air and the evaporated waste oil are mixed in the combustion chamber 1 optimally and combustion efficiency in the combustion chamber 1 is improved.
