    • PURPOSE: To realize an always proper combustion control by a method wherein burners are controlled under a correct air ratio regardless of the operation or stoppage of a system, and an oxygen concentration in a furnace is always kept uniform for a furnace which is equipped with a pair of heat accumulation type burners and makes them perform a combustion alternately. CONSTITUTION: A uniform temperature distribution is formed in a furnace 3 by switching two heat accumulation type burners 1 being provided in the furnace 3 by an interval of a specified period of time, and making them perform a combustion, and at the same time, a pre-heating of combustion air is performed by recovering the exhaust heat. In such a furnace, at both times of operation and shut down, an air flow rate to be fed to an air introducing pipe in which a gas introducing pipe of each heat accumulation type burner 1 is installed is adjusted to an air flow rate being required to cool the gas introducing pipe. Also, a fuel gas flow rate is respectively regulated to a flow rate which is required at the time of a normal combustion, a flow rate which becomes a proper air ratio to an air flow rate in the air introducing pipe at the time of operation, and a flow rate which is required as a pilot flame at the time of shut down. By this method, a proper air ratio is always maintained.

    • PURPOSE: To uniformize liner wall temperature and hence keep stable combustion by forming a protruded rib on the side of a cooling air flow passage in the peripheral direction of the liner using a monolithic material for forming a combustor liner. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of monolithic ribs 11 are formed in the axial direction of a liner 2 where a monolithic liner material is formed into a protruded shape in the circumferential direction of the liner 2 on the side of a cooling air flow passage of the liner 2. A joint protruded rib 10 for promoting cooling of a wall of the liner 2 is joined with the wall of the liner 2 located on the side of the cooling air flow passage in the circumferential direction of the surface of the wall of the liner 2. At this time, relationships between the width A, height H of the monolithic rib 11 and the width (a), height (h) of the joint protruded rib 10 are defined: A>=a, H=h. Hereby, cooling air is prevented from flowing nonuniformly, and wall temperature of the liner 22 can be uniformized, and further fuel and air in a combustor are facilitated to be mixed and uniformized to keep stable combustion.
