    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam generator capable of attaining the guide of exhaust gas flow in the path from a burner to the part of a heat exchanger by simple means, and optimizing the state of flow inside the path of the heat exchanger part. SOLUTION: A steam generator is provided with a steam generating boiler l, a burner vertical hole 5 for feeding high temperature exhaust gas from the burner and a heat exchanger part 10. The heat exchanger is provided with paths 12a, 12b and 12c for circulating the exhaust gas of the burner heat exchanging the heat of it with the liquid inside a steam boiler 1. The path of the heat exchanging part is arranged so that it is connected to the burner vertical hole through a connecting part 25, and the direction of the exhaust gas inside the path flowing from the burner to the exhaust port is different from the direction of the flow inside the vertical hole. The connecting part is provided with a through path 25 formed with the hole on the wall of the vertical hole and an insert 20. The hole connects between the burner vertical hole and the path of the heat exchanging part, and is partially closed by the insert.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a sectional boiler by fixing one first section and a number of second sections arranged in parallel by bolting them, by enclosing them with a heat- insulating material from the outer side, by connecting the upper steam outlets of the individual sections by a manifold, by connecting the lower ports for fallen water by a manifold, and by connecting the manifolds to a steam separator at a side by a main pipe and a downcomer. CONSTITUTION:The boiler water under a normal water level is turned by heating to steam, which is collected in an upper manifold 18 and led through a main pipe 19 into a steam separator 20 where steam is sent out through an upper main stop valve 35. The water separated from steam falls through a downcomer 23 and enters the lower laterally laid part 4 of the pipe of each section. Water is automatically supplied to them by a pump which operates in a linkage with the fall of the water level from the normal level. Built entirely of steel pipes by welding, the boiler is resistant to high pressure and the vaporization capacity can be freely altered by increasing or decreasing the sections in use in number. The heat-transferring efficiency is excellent, since the combustion chamber 30 is formed entirely by water-cooled furnace walls and the flames flow on a three-paths system. The tilted pipes in the middle forms such an inclination that air bubbles flow satisfactorily without the possibility of causing a water hammer, hence safety of the operation is insured.
