    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a longitudinal hole of sufficient depth while making a device compact and lightweight on the whole regarding a hole excavating device for excavating the longitudinal hole, relatively large in hole diameter and depth, in the ground. SOLUTION: A hole excavating device is provided with a excavator 4 driving an excavating tool by a turning motor 15 to excavate a longitudinal hole in the ground, a hydraulic power unit 12 arranged on the ground to supply pressure oil to the turning motor 15. The excavator 4 is provided with a drain tank 21 for storing leakage oil generated from the turning motor 15, and an auxiliary hydraulic pump 22 for feeding the leakage oil to the hydraulic power unit 12. The hole excavating device is also provided with an auxiliary pipe line 43 for connecting the hydraulic power unit 12 on the ground to the auxiliary hydraulic pump 22 of the excavator 4, a switching valve 28 for holding the auxiliary pipe line 43 into either an opened state or a closed state, an oil quantity sensor 23 for outputting a detection signal when the oil quantity in the drain tank 21 reaches the specified quantity, and a control device 30 for outputting a driving signal for putting the switching valve in the opened state in response to the detection signal.

    • PURPOSE: To suitably keep the edge tip load of an excavating member by disposing a variable relief valve in a pipe line for connecting a pipe line, which serves as the inlet side of a hydraulic motor when an elevating member is lowered, to an oil pressure tank, and setting the oil pressure in an operator cab. CONSTITUTION: In a pipe driver adapted to elevate an elevating member suspending an excavating member fitted to a reamer by driving a hydraulic motor 14 in rotation, pipe lines 20a, 20b are provided for connecting the hydraulic motor 14 to an oil hydraulic pump 10 for supplying oil pressure through a directional switching valve 12. A variable relief valve 22 is disposed in a connecting path 21 for connecting the pipe line 20a which serves as the inlet side of the hydraulic motor 14 when the elevating member is lowered and the oil pressure tank to each other, and oil pressure is set by an operating member provided in an operator cab. When the descending speed of an auger screw is excessively high, the preset pressure of the variable relief valve 22 is reduced to decrease the descending speed and lower the edge tip load. After the edge tip load is set to a suitable value, the edge tip load is kept within a suitable range only by holding an operating lever on the descend side.

CONSTITUTION:When the cylinder 18 of a unchucking mechanism 18 is elongated to sink an unchucking member 21 while a rod rotation driving mechanism 9 is at a standstill, the trunk part 21a is engaged by the internal circumferences of rings 22, 22, and notches 15a, 15a in two chuck plates 15, 15 are disengaged from the groove 6c provided in a joint rod 6a. When the cylinder 18 of the chucking mechanism 13 is shrunk to elevate the unchucking member 21, the two chuck plates 15, 15 move in the shutting direction with the energizing forces of springs 16, 16, and when engagement of the trunk part 21a with the rings 22, 22 goes out, the chuck plates shut entirely to cause the notches to be in detention with the groove in the joint rod 6a. If in this condition, the rod 6 is rotated by the driving mechanism 9, the output shaft 10 and rod chucking mechanism 12 rotate in a single piece to cause the groove and the chuck plates to rotate in a single piece, so that wears of the two members will be eliminated, and the rod 6 is given a push-in propelling force by the contact pressure.

    • PURPOSE:To make occupying area of a machine smaller by providing a locking device between a leader mast and boom composed of a multi-articulated arms for locking both these members at optional angles for angular width and by providing, at the same time, oil-hydraulic cylinders for rise-and-fall motion to each of the arms. CONSTITUTION:The front end of a catch fork 14 is detached from the lower end of a leader mast 3 with a pin 13 pulled out and is raised up with a sub- cable hooked to its front end. Then an oil-hydraulic cylinder 8 of a locking device B is contracted so that a double-link 9 is drawn in, and thereby the lower part of the leader mast 3 is drawn toward a boom A, making the angular width narrow. The oil-hydraulic cylinder 10 for rise-and-fall motion of the boom A is extended, making the whole body of the boom A raised and, at the same time, an upper arm 7 is raised with the oil-hydraulic cylinder 11 for rise-and-fall motion of the upper arm extended. Thereby the lower end of the mast 3 is drawn and is put in upright position together with an earth auger 4.

CONSTITUTION:The leader mast 2 of a kelly-bar type drilling machine is so made as to support the first and second chucks 22 and 122 for retaining a drilling rod 8 in such a way as to freely open and close, and to be freely liftable in a relative vertical direction and rotatable together with the drilling rod 8. Then, the first and second pushing cylinders 36 and 136 are provided for respectively lifting each of the chucks 22 and 122. Furthermore, the drilling rod 8 is advanced for a drilling process via the first chuck 22 and concurrently therewith, the second chuck 122 is pushed to be lifted up to a setup position. Thereafter, the first chuck 2 is lifted while the second chuck 122 is in a drilling advance operation. The aforesaid processes are repeated and a continuous drilling advance process is carried out.

CONSTITUTION:A rod 1 is divided into a rod base section 1a connected to a driving gear, and a rod main-body 1b, and into a hollow section of the rod base section 1a, the upper section of the rod main-body 1b is fitted. After that, on the outer periphery of the rod base section 1a, a piston 4 is formed, and around the piston, a cylinder case 5 connected to the rod main-body 1b is set. After that, to the side of the rod base section 1a in the cylinder case 5 and the side of the rod main-body 1b, oil is fed, and the rod main-body 1b is moved freely vertically and relatively to a casing 2. Then, the level of an excavating bit at the tip of the rod main-body 1b is adjusted with respect to the tip of the casing 2. As a result, at the time of excavating, resistance received by the rod main-body 1b, and resistance received by the casing 2 can be independently set.
