    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the changing process of an excavation head when reaching a hard base rock and a pre-process for preceding drilling with a single shaft in the drilling method of the soft/hard composite ground and reduce the construction period and the cost. SOLUTION: This excavation head 100 is provided with an earth removing scraper 8 excavating the soft ground with an excavation shaft 1 and a plurality of excavation bits 3 fitted to the tip of the excavation shaft 1 and conveying the excavated sediment, roller bits 6 having a plurality of crushing bit rows 4a on the outer periphery of a rotary shaft X2 in the direction crossing the excavation shaft 1 and rotatably excavating the base rock around the rotary shaft X2, and an earth removing blade 2 made of a spiral blade continued to the upper section of the earth removing scraper 8 and conveying the excavated sediment from the earth removing scraper 8. A roller scraper 9 guiding the excavated sediment in the gaps of the crushing bit rows 4a to the earth removing blade 2 is fitted to the tip of the excavation shaft 1 between a plurality of roller bits 6. The excavation bits 3 excavate the ground precedently to the roller bits 6, and the roller bits 6 excavate the base rock precedently after reaching the base rock.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tracking caused by a rotating locus by improving the arrangement of drilling tips buried in most of the center region portion except for the small-diameter end portion and the large-diameter end portion of a cutter main body. SOLUTION: Drilling tips 1-71 are buried in fitting holes provided on the outer peripheral face of a truncated conical cutter main body 101 while being partially protruded. A spiral arrangement on the end face view of the small- diameter side is applied to the nearly whole center region portion except for the small-diameter end portion and the large-diameter end portion. The inclination of the spiral is set to about 15 deg. CCW, and an axially undeviated and peripherally uniform-pitch arrangement is applied to the drilling tips buried in the small-diameter end portion and the large-diameter end portion. The Z-axis direction positions where the drilling tips 1-71 are buried are deviated little by little in the arrangement so that the drilled face is uniformly drilled. The calculating program of the fitting holes is not required, and tracking can be prevented like for an irregular random arrangement.

    • PURPOSE:To improve excavating efficiency of hard base rock by inclining the vertical center line seen from the side surface of an excavating claw so that the position of its upper part at the time of excavating rotation precedes the lower part. CONSTITUTION:A claw mounting block 12 is inclined and mounted on a mounting plate 10 in such a manner that the upper part precedes the lower part with respect to the rotating direction X at the time of excavation. Then, a mounting channel 7b is fitted to the block 12, and a mounting claw 7 is removably and attachably fixed by bolts 13. The mounting claw is mounted in such a manner that the excavating point P is in the back of the intersection O of the vertical center line (l) of the mounting plate 10 and an excavated surface 4 with respect to the rotating direction. An excavating claw 7A is similarly mounted on a mounting plate 11. Hence, the excavating claws 7, 7A are bitten into the drilled surface 4 by their elasticity, the repeat of rebound is prevented, and smooth excavation can be conducted.
