    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lockout when closing a door, to enable easy locking, to facilitate assembling by effectively utilizing a space in a lock box. SOLUTION: An operating rod 15A of a latch 11 is horizontally disposed in the central part of an internal space of a lock box 5. A latch cam 70A whose tip is engaged with the operating rod is rotatably installed at either the upper side or the lower side of the internal space on the basis of the operating rod. At the opposite side of the latch cam, a release component 31A for a thumb-turn top joint 50A and a lock piece 60A for the latch cam are installed from the front 7 side toward the back wall 8a side of the lock box. When an interior door is closed, the latch touches the edge of a door frame and moves backward to cooperatively rotate the release component according to the backward movement of the operating rod, thereby displacing the rotational position of a driving arm of the thumb-turn top joint, and rotating the lock piece for the latch cam to release one engaging part 65A of the lock piece from the engaged part 73A at the tip of the latch cam.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operationability by installing a longitudinal handle and a releasing member interlocked with the handle to an inner seat and an outer seat mounted on the indoor and outdoor surfaces of a door. SOLUTION: When the central section of an internal handle 6 is pushed, the handle 6 is pushed against the energizing force of coil springs 13, 14, and a releasing member 8 is rotated in the clockwise direction. When the central section of an external handle 7 is pulled, the handle 7 is drawn against the energizing force of a helical spring 17, and a releasing member 9 is turned in the clockwise direction. When the upper section or lower section of the handle 6 is pushed, the member 8 is revolved in the clockwise direction. When the upper section or lower section of the handle 7 is pulled, the member 9 is rotated in the clockwise direction. Since each operating end 82, 92 of the members 8, 9 is engaged with the operating member of a latch lock 10, a locking piece is released from a latch head through the operating member, and the lock 10 is released and a door is brought to the state, in which the door can be opened. Accordingly, the door can be opened smoothly and surely, and the structure can be simplified.

    • PURPOSE: To allow a person to open a door easily, when the person carries an item with himself or herself by permitting the door to be opened without rotating a handle by pulling an inner handle or pushing an outer handle so as to disengage engagement of a latch bolt. CONSTITUTION: An outer handle 1 having a tumbler lock 3 and an inner handle having a rotary knob 9 are connected by a guide base part 4 having an inclined surface part 76. Contact with a latch bolt 6 having a return spring 53 is made at the inclined surface part 76. By pulling an inner handle 2 or pushing the outer handle, the engagement of the latch bolt 6 is disengaged so as to make the door opened. If the tumbler lock 3 is locked or the rotary knob 9 is locked, the latch bolt 6 cannot be unlocked, even if the outer handle 1 is pushed. Even in this case, the latch bolt can be unlocked by pulling the inner handle 2. With this constitution, operability and burglar proof properties of the door are improved.
