摘要： PURPOSE: To precisely and automatically trim a selvedge by pressing the selvedge part of a web of textile conveyed in an enlarged state onto the outer periphery part of a roll having pins by a pressing roll, and trimming and separating the pressed selvedge part by a trimming knife. CONSTITUTION: A web 1 of textile is conveyed in a tension frame by a conveying apparatus such as a pin strap and a clip, and the selvedge part of the web of the textile is pressed onto the outer periphery part of a roll 13 having pins 14 by a pressing belt 17 extending over an opposite roll 16 and the other roll 18 keeping contact with the roll 13 having the pins 14 arranged in a circular line at the neighborhood a trimming portion 15 of a trimming knife 12, and introduced to the trimming portion 15. The selvedge part of the web 1 of the textile removed from the pins 14 before the trimming is automatically returned to the pressing region between the opposite roll 16 and the roll 13 having the pins 14, and the selvedge part is trimmed and separated by the trimming knife 12 at the trimming portion 15.

In the process, the web is cut to a given web width by compressed air jetting nozzles 15. Plural sheets of the resultant web are laminated to reduce the lamination layers and unevenness.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a warp-knitted fabric, intended for helping the fabric to stabilize its dimension and/or maintain its touch feeling by integratedly knitting band-like selvedges for tenter on the fabric to make the best use of the selvedges.
SOLUTION: The warp-knitted fabric A for seamless products is such one that at least both side ends thereof are joiningly knitted with obverse and reverse knitted fabrics so as to be cylindrical, that is, the band-like selvedges 3 for tenter are integratedly knitted outside of both of the side ends in the form of the obverse and reverse knitted fabrics knitted joiningly to both of the side ends. The method for processing the warp-knitted fabric A comprises dry-heat-setting the fabric A in such a condition that the band-like selvedges 3 for tenter is held by a relevant means for securing the width of the fabric A at a specified dimension to stabilize fabric dimension. A seamless product is produced by removing the selvedges 3 for tenter from the processed fabric A.
