    • PURPOSE:To provide a data composing device automatically making stitch seam data for a required form, by taking the error in the longitudinally feeding direction of an applied cloth into consideration, due to the arc oscillation of a zigzag sewing machine. CONSTITUTION:A needle-location point memory is forced to memorize X, Y position data of the needle-location points for a stitch pattern. The lateral width H of the stitch pattern, a conversion coefficient (k) of the needle- oscillation position, and the X-coordinate Zp of the center of the lateral width are respectively operated (S3-S5), basing on the X-position data and the needle- oscillation data (Nn) are operated (S7), basing on these data and the X- coordinate data. The longitudinally feeding data are operated (S12), basing on the X-coordinate data and the needle oscillation data (Nn). When the accumulated error of both error in the longitudinally feeding direction due to the needle- oscillation and the feeding error reaches one feed pitch, the needle-location-data are corrected to no-needle location condition (S15) to add corrected seam data (S16).
