摘要： PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of operation by applying a turning motion to rockers by the excitation/non-excitation of an electromagnet of a rocker drive section, thereby controlling the engagement/release of a heald rod. CONSTITUTION: When the electromagnet 15 of the rocker drive section 20 is exited by sending a control signal from a computer to the electromagnet 15 in accordance with a prescribed pattern of the heald rod controller 1 of a Jacquard loom, a lever 12 on the bottom end side of the rockers 11 is magnetically attracted by overcoming the energizing force of a spring 17 pulling a pair of the rockers 11 to impart the turning motion to the rockers 11 around a revolving shaft 13, by which the detaining projecting parts 11a of the heald rod 2 are moved outward and are projected outward through the rocker retraction ports 16a of a loom body 16 and the front ends of the rocker retraction ports 16a are fitted into heald rod detaining holes 2a to detain the heald rod 2. When the electromagnet 15 is conversely non-excited, the attraction force to the lever 12 described above disappears and the heald detaining projecting parts 11a release the detaining of the heald rod 2 by the energizing force of the spring 17, by which the heald rod is made freely vertically movable.
