    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling data of take-up/take-off length, with which, in the process of taking up a material to be taken up, the rotation of a winding body and the take-up length of the material to be taken up corresponding to the rotation are memorized as winding information and in the process of utilizing the material to be taken up, the take-off length of the material to be taken up is accurately calculated from the winding information. SOLUTION: The method for controlling data of take-up/take-off length comprises, in the process of taking up the material (1) to be taken up on the winding body (2), memorizing the rotation (R1) of the winding body (2) in the winding direction from the take-up start to the take-up end of the material (1) to be taken up and the take-up length (L1) of the material (1) to be taken up corresponding to the rotation (R1) as the winding information (D) inherent to the winding body (2) and in the process of utilizing the material (1) to be taken up while unwinding the winding body (2), detecting the rotation (R2) of the winding body (2) and obtaining the take-off length (L2) of the material (1) to be taken up relative to the rotation (R2) in the unwinding direction from the detected rotation (R2) and the winding information (D).
