    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-recovering apparatus which has a simplified structure and can smoothly recover fibrous products extruded from nozzles in a stable state.
      SOLUTION: This fiber-recovering apparatus comprises an introduction means 9 for introducing fibrous products S extruded from nozzles S and conveyed with air flows to the starting end position of a conveying surface HM having a prescribed length, a suction convey means 10 for sucking the fibrous products S from the back side of the conveying surface HM and simultaneously moving the fibrous products S on the conveying surface HM in a conveying direction to convey the fibrous products S introduced to the starting end position of the conveying surface HM along the conveying surface HM, and a suction conveyance means 11 for sucking and conveying the fibrous products S along the conveying surface HM at the final end position of the conveying surface HM.

    • PURPOSE: To spin a high-strength, high-modulus aromatic polyamide filament at a high spinning velocity. CONSTITUTION: This method for spinning an aromatic polyamide filament is performed by extruding an acid solution containing at least 30 g per 100 mL acid of aromatic polyamide having an inherent viscosity of at least 4 and chain- extending bonds which are either co-axial or parallel and oppositely directed into a coagulating bath 1 and then through a spin tube 14 along with overflowing coagulating liquid. A coagulating liquid is jetted in a downward direction forming an angle of 0-85 deg. with respect to the filaments within about 2.0 milli- seconds from the time the filaments enter the spin tube. The flow rates of the jetted and the overflowing coagulating liquids are maintained constant. The ratio of the mass-flow rate of the coagulating liquid to mass-flow rate of the filaments is greater than about 250 and a momentum ratio of jetted to overflowing coagulating liquids of greater than about 6.0 is employed. Also, an average linear velocity of combined coagulating liquids in the spin tube is less than the velocity of the filaments exiting from the spin tube 14.
