摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant base oil excellent in low temperature viscosity characteristics and capable of achieving both viscosity-temperature characteristics and low temperature viscosity characteristics at a high level, and to provide its manufacturing method and a lubricant composition containing the lubricant base oil.SOLUTION: The lubricant base oil is characterized by having an urea adduct value of 4-6 mass%, a viscosity index of 100 or more, and the saturated content of 90 mass% or more based on the total amount of the lubricant base oil. The manufacturing method of the lubricant base oil is characterized by conducting hydrogenolysis by using a vacuum distillation distillate oil and the like as a raw material in a presence of a hydrogenolysis catalyst and further treating with combination of a dearomatization treatment and a dewaxing treatment so that the resulting product to be treated has an urea adduct value in a range of 4 to 6 mass%, viscosity index of 100 or more and the saturated content of 90 mass% or more based on the total amount of the lubricant base oil.
