    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating acid soil for easily neutralizing underground acidified soil in situ at a low cost regardless of the using conditions of the ground surface directly on the same.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and surely green treated soil mixed with a cement-based material and a lime-based material at a low cost.
      SOLUTION: This improved soil is characterized by stirring treated soil and simultaneously adding a prescribed chemical to the treated soil to form crystallized coating films of the particles or clods of the treated soil. The treated soil is obtained by adding a solidifying material containing a cement-based material or a lime-based material as a main component to sludge such as construction mud or dredge mud. A method for producing the improved soil comprises charging the above-mentioned treated soil into a stirring tank or a pit set onto the ground, stirring the treated soil and simultaneously adding a phosphate or sulfate-based chemical fertilizer, especially calcium superphosphate, bisuperphosphate of lime or magnesium sulfate as a chemical to the treated soil.
