摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive resin composition applicable to flip chip mounting of LSI and to provide a flip chip mounting method having high productivity and reliability.
SOLUTION: In a conductive resin composition 10 for dispersing metal particles 13 in a fluid medium and electrically connecting a space between electrodes, the fluid medium comprises a first fluid medium 12 having relatively high wetting property with the metal particles 13 and a second fluid medium 11 having relatively low wetting property with the metal particles 13 and the first fluid medium 12 and the second fluid medium 13 are dispersed in mutually uncompatible state. A method for connecting a space between electrodes comprises supplying the conductive resin composition 10 to the space between a plurality of electrodes 15 and 17 arranged in a state opposed to each other, arranging the first fluid medium in which metal particles are dispersed between electrodes by utilizing wetting property of the first fluid medium to these electrodes, arranging the second fluid medium in the region other than the above region, self-assembling metal particles between electrodes and selectively electrically connecting the space between electrodes.
