    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crane capable of consistently and reliably operating a trolley and a saddle without connecting the trolley to the saddle by a thick multi-core cabtire cable or the like. SOLUTION: The crane comprises a pair of saddles 1 moving along a pair of saddle rails 2, a trolley rail 4 with both ends thereof being connected to the saddles 1, a plurality of trolley cables 6 arranged along the trolley rails 4, a trolley 3 moving along the trolley rail 4 while being in contact with the trolley cables 6, and an operation unit 30 for transmitting a control signal to the saddles 1. The trolley cable 6 comprises a power line 6A for supplying the power, and a spare line 6B. The crane has a transmitter 8 which modulates the carrier by the control signal to be input from the operation unit 30 and outputs it to the spare line 6B in the saddles 1, and a receiver 9 which receives the carrier to be output to the spare line 6B and detects the control signal in the trolley 3, and receives the output of the transmitter 8 by the receiver 9 and controls the trolley 3. Hence position data converted by the SD converter 15 corresponding to the synchronous signal of the SD converter 15 independent of the processing cycle of the sequencer 13 are temporarily memorized in a memory device while renewing them. In the sequencer 13, simultaneously outputting the synchronous signal to a computing device 21, the newest position data among the position data memorized in the memory device 22 is read out, during a data readout term after the lapse of a signal processing time.
