    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension sheave device of a governor rope which is smoothly and vertically moved following the expansion of the governor rope and capable of considerably enhancing the maintainability.
      SOLUTION: The tension sheave device of the governor rope comprises a tension sheave 2 with a fold-back part of a lower end of the governor rope 1 being wound therearound, a tension sheave weight 3 for providing the predetermined tension to the governor rope 1 via the tension sheave 2, a movable supporting part 7 which is vertically movable along the longitudinal direction of a guide rail 6 erected in an elevator hoistway, and an arm 8 connected between the tension sheave 2 and the movable supporting part 7. The movable supporting part 7 has a rotating body which is rolled on a front side, a back side and both end faces of a flange part of the guide rail 6. The vertical movement of the tension sheave 2 is guided to restrict the movement in the horizontal direction in a predetermined range.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a governor tensioner switch system capable of surely detecting the vertical displacement of a governor tensioner even when the governor tensioner applying tension downward to a governor rope is raised or lowered. SOLUTION: This governor tensioner switch system comprises a switch 6 for detection installed on the guide rail 1 side and a detection contact plate 7 attached to a tensioner sheave 4 on the governor tensioner 2 side and operating the switch 6. The governor tensioner 2 applies a tension downward to the governor rope 5 through the tension sheave 4. When the governor rope 5 is pulled upward in an earthquake, the governor tensioner 2 is raised, and the detection contact plate 7 takes an up position to operate the switch 6.
