    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having a simple constitution capable of smoothly separating and delivering even curled paper sheets without causing any mistaken feed from a paper sheet feed cassette.
      SOLUTION: The image forming device 1 comprises a device body 10, a cassette chamber 50 formed in the device body 10, a paper sheet feeding cassette 6 attachably/detachably fitted to the cassette chamber 50, and a paper sheet feed roller 64 which is elastically brought into contact with an upper surface of a front end in the feeding direction of a paper sheet bundle 7 deposited and stored in the paper sheet feed cassette 6, and further comprises a paper sheet feed member 65 which separates and delivers the paper sheets 7 in the paper sheet feed cassette 6 one by one, and feeds the paper sheets into the device body 10. A paper sheet holding member 8 for holding the paper sheets 7 in the paper sheet feed cassette 6 is rockingly supported by a top wall part 51 of the cassette chamber 50.

    • PURPOSE: To keep feeding roll contact force proper even when paper sheets are reduced from a tray by providing a movable type support means to apply reasonably constant vertical force between the paper sheet on the top part and a paper sheet feeding means regardless of size and density of the paper sheets on the movable tray by adjusting a spring rate of a plate spring means. CONSTITUTION: A paper sheet on the top part of a stack of the wheets placed on a paper sheet tray 24 is put at a specified position to feed it into a processing machine by a feeding roll. Thereafter, vertical force between the feeding roll and one sheet on the top part of the paper sheets is maintained proper throughout overall feeding motion against weight of the paper sheets along an extensive rage regardless of the remaining number in this tray 24 by adjusting the spring rate of the plate spring 18. This adjustment is carried out by providing a movable type support member 17 against the plate spring 18 and changing the spring rate in accordance with movement of the movable type support member 17.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the frictional force between the lowermost sheet of paper and a support plate by providing a convex or concave groove directed to the direction of delivering said sheet on the rear portion of the upper surface of a lowermost sheet supporting plate to introduce deeply between said sheet and support plate gas jetted from a blasting means. CONSTITUTION:Air injected from an air blasting unit 5 is supplied between laminated blanks 7 and between the lowermost blank and a tray bottom plate 1. As a convex groove 3 is then provided in the rear portion of the tray bottom plate 1, a gap between the lowermost blank 8 and the tray bottom plate 1 is widened toward the rear portion of the tray bottom portion 1. As a result, although the laminated blanks 7 are mounted long along the direction of feeding out, air supplied between the lowermost blank 8 and the tray bottom plate 1 flows rearward to separate the lowermost blank 8 completely upward from the tray bottom plate 1 and thus reduce the frictional force acting between both 8 and 1.
