    • PURPOSE:To have effective transportation of parts by installing two vibration systems each of which vibrates in two directions, exciting one of the vibration systems through excitation of the other system, and by producing a phase difference between the two systems. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is impressed on piezo elements 17, 17 through leads 18, 18, a lief spring 14 is excited sideways to cause excitation of another lief spring 16 in the vertical direction. This brings an upper mass 12 and a parts container 11 into rotary, twisting and vertical vibrations. Because this lief spring 16 is inclined from the horizontal state a certain angle down with its right side, the period delay of the vertical vibration of the lief spring 14 with resped to its horizontal vibration will become oriented rightward to produce a long elliptical vibration in the direction of arrow B, and the parts advance counterclockwise. This configuration allows use of the device at a frequency in the neighborhood of the resonance point to assure an effective transportation.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a vibrational feeder in which those portions other than the portion of a vibrating bowl where articles to be transported are received can be protected against impact forces exerted by article put into the bowl, by fixing an article receiving member in the bowl by the intermediary of damper. CONSTITUTION:In the vibrational feeder shown in the drawing, a fixing plate 12 of a vibrating bowl 10 is mounted on a base plate 14 by the intermediary of plate springs 34. Vibration is imparted to the plate 12 by a vibrator for aligning and feeding articles on a carrier track in bowl 10. In the bowl 10, an article receiving member 90 is fixed by the intermediary of rubber springs 92 at a position under a hopper 94. With such arrangement, impact forces exerted when articles are put into the bowl can be absorbed at the member 90, so that remaining portion of the apparatus can be protected from impact forces. Further, there is no fear of adversely affecting article aligning function of the apparatus by imparting unnecessary vibration to the vibrating system.
