    • PURPOSE:To perform lower-cost and more rapid air transportation with a large quantity, to provide advantages for enviromnent protection, and to reduce an amount of consumed fuel by using an automatic inflight refueling airplane at a distant of 1000KM or more, in a method to perform air-transportation of large quantities of resources. CONSTITUTION:In a method to effect air-transportation of large quantities of resources, in addition to a flying object 1 to transport resources, an automatic inflight refueling airplane 2 being a flying object to load only fuel is caused to wait at a distance of 1000KM or more and fuel is fed to the flying object 1 in air. This method performs lower-cost and more rapid air-transportation of large quantities of resources. By effecting the operation, an amount of consumed fuel is sharply reduced, the weight of the flying object 1 is also reduced, and air transportation of large quantities of resources can take place.

    • PURPOSE: To accomplish refueling safely by diffusing to the rear a plurality of frequency waves from a microwave landing gear provided on the tail end of a tanker aircraft to an aircraft to be refueled so that frequency waves may not be detected by forward hostile aircrafts. CONSTITUTION: A microwave rendezvous system 12 mounted on the tail end of a tanker aircraft 10 selects specific frequency different from aircrafts to be refueled 14, 16 and diffuses microwaves in horizontally azimuth coverage of per 60 deg. rearward of the center axis 20 and of 20 vertically gliding coverage. The aircraft to be refueled 14 or 16 corresponding to the diffuse frequency receives remaining distance information from an accurate distance measurement device 18 as being positioned within the coverage and is refueled as continuing an accurate access flight. Thus safe refueling can be accomplished as avoiding risk of having the frequency waves detected by a high performance sensor of forward hostile aircrafts.
