摘要： PURPOSE:To improve operability by providing a one-way clutch, comprising an outer groove formed in a shift plunger, the inner surface groove of a cylinder case, and a rigid ball, in parallel to a detect mechanism, in a forward reverse switching control device for an outboard motor and locating a force accumulating means therebetween. CONSTITUTION:In a control device 50, a detect mechanism D and a one-way clutch C are arranged in parallel to each other and a balance spring 62 is located therebetween to form a force accumulating means. The one-way clutch C comprises an inner surface groove 63a formed in the inner surface of a cylinder case 51, an outer surface groove 63b formed in the outer surface of a shift plunger 53, and a steel ball 64 for locking supported to the inside outside communicating hole of a shift case 52. The shift plunger 53 communicated with an operation rod 41 is changed into an operation direction during operation to both the forward side and the reverse side and operated as the one-way clutch.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate the running operation with high speed forward and low speed backward by connecting a planet gear mechanism connected to a backward gear and a forward gear through a dog mechanism to a dog clutch to rotate a propeller shaft forward or backward. CONSTITUTION:A planet gear mechanism 17 is connected to a backing gear 15. The planet gear mechanism 17 and a forward gear 14 are separatably connected to a dog clutch 16 through dog claws 28b, 28a serving as a dog mechanism so that a propeller shaft 12 rotates forward or backward. Namely, the dog clutch 16 meshes with the dog claw 28a of the forward gear 14 so that the propeller shaft 12 rotates forward, and the dog clutch 16 meshes with the dog claw 28b of the planet gear mechanism 17 so that the propeller shaft 12 is decelerated and rotated backward to move backward a hull with low speed. The running can be carried out with high speed forward and low speed backward. Thus, in the shift to the backward side, the propeller is on the front side of forward direction to prevent the propeller from getting entangled in a fishing line or the like.
