    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling stock body of low noise level which is easily manufactured.
      SOLUTION: The rolling stock comprises a subframe 40 disposed below a floor of the rolling stock body with a clearance therebetween, and a bogie 30 disposed below the subframe 40 with a clearance therebetween, wherein the rolling stock body 10 and subframe 40 are connected via a first center pin 60 protruding downward from the rolling stock body 10 or a first center pin 60 protruding into the rolling stock body thereabove from the subframe 40. The subframe 40 and the bogie 30 are connected via a second center pin 70 protruding downward from the subframe 40. A two-step bumper 61 is disposed between the first center pin 60 and the connected counter member, and the two-step bumper 61 is disposed on both sides of center pin 60 in the width direction of the rolling stock body 10. The rolling stock body 10 swings in the width direction when the bogie passes a point. After passing the point, the rolling stock body returns to its original position by the force of the two-step bumper 61.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the looseness of a bearing pressure nut and the yield of a screw from occurring by installing an elastic body interposingly between a bearing keep ring and the bearing presser nut. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical roller bearing 2 is built in a shaft end of an axle 1, and in turn, this bearing 2 is provided with a separate loose rib 3 in the end. In addition, a disk spring 18 or an elastic body is inserted into the shaft end, contacting with the loose rib 3. In last, a bearing pressure nut 5 is screwed in an external thread formed in the shaft end, pressing the bearing via the loose rib 3 as a bearing keep ring, and it is clamped. Accordingly, at the time of vehicle running, even if a temperature difference is produced between the shaft and the bearing, the disk spring 18 or the elastic body functions as a body expansion absorber, so that any looseness in the presser nut and the yield of a coupling part of the screw are prevented from occurring. Furthermore, by accident resulting in personal injury due to slip-off of the bearing presser nut can be prevented from occurring and, what is more, such a requirement that a locking key is formed in the axle shaft end becomes unnecessary.

    • PURPOSE: To ensure the function in a high-speed train at low cost with a lighter weight by forming a joint of a toroidal part to be connected to one rolling stock and a support part to be connected to the other rolling stock, so that the connection can be performed even when both the parts are opposed to each other with large eccentricity. CONSTITUTION: A composite toroidal articulated coupling element is formed of a metal plate 14 put between elastic material layers 15, a truncated conical plate 16 forms the support surface of the toroidal part 1, and a vertical shaft 17 is fixed to the center of a base plate 9 by a screw 19. The shaft 17 is fitted into the boring part 4 of the part 1 to leave a large clearance with the boring part 4, the clearance avoids the contact of the circumference of the shaft 17 with the boring part 4 in the vertical movement in traction or braking, so that the shaft 17 makes contact with the boring part 4 only when an abnormal impact occurs. A circular cap 17 having a flat lower surface 18A is formed on the upper part of the shaft 17, and opposed to the smooth hard alloy toroidal ring 8 of the part 1. Since the fixing pin 21 of the part 1 is fitted into the fork 22 of a toroidal member 13, the slippage between the part 1 and the toroidal element 13 is eliminated in passing a sharp curve, and the part 1 can be relatively rotated.
