摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance a sealing effect by composing a cap body so as to be airtightly engaged with a writing instrument body, providing an inner cap formed of an elastic member for airtightly partitioning the cap body into two sections, and forming an engaging seal at the cap. CONSTITUTION:A cap 29 to be engaged with an end of a body 21 of a writing instrument comprises a cap body 41 to be airtightly slidably engaged with the body 21, an inner cap 42 provided in the body 41 and made of an elastic member for airtightly partitioning the body 41 to two sections of a section of an end side and the other section of an engaging opening side, and an engaging seal 43 formed at the cap 42 to be engaged in close contact with an end 26 of a nib 24 of the instrument when the body is engaged with the body 21 and no differential pressure is generated between the two sections. As a result, an effective sealability is obtained to also prevent ink from flowing out.
