    • PURPOSE:To prepare a reel hub excellent in roundness, by molding an intermediate ring shaped part surrounded by an inner annular part having a shaft hole and an outer annular part coming to the outer peripheral surface of the reel hub while simultaneously molding the inner annular part and the outer annular part to the inside and outside of said intermediate ring shaped part. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate ring shaped part 5 surrounded by an inner annular part 3 having a shaft hole 2 through which the reel shaft of a tape recorder is inserted and an outer annular part 4 coming to the outer peripheral surface of a reel hub 1 is at first molded by an injection molding method. In the next step, the intermediate ring shaped part 5 is withdrawn from a cavity for molding the intermediate ring shaped part in a state attached to a movable side mold and, after the movable side mold is rotated by 180 deg. around the central axial line of a mold splitting surface, the mold is closed to fit the intermediate ring shaped part in a cavity for molding the outer annular part and the inner annular part. In the next step, a resin is injected into said cavity to simultaneously mold the inner annular part 3 and the outer annular part 4 to the inside and outside of the intermediate ring shaped part 5.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a reel hub having good roundness and a good flatness degree and capable of stably winding up a magnetic tape, by forming a recessed part to the outer peripheral surface of an inner annular part along the peripheral direction thereof by utilizing the molding contraction of a molding material while using the outer peripheral surface of the inner annular part as the one constitutional surface of a cavity during the molding of an outer annular part. CONSTITUTION:An inner annular part 3 is formed into a thin wall at the inner peripheral part thereof surrounding a shaft hole 2 and a thick wall at the outer peripheral part thereof. The molding of this inner annular part 3 is performed under a molding condition easily generating a sink mark such that injection pressure is low or holding pressure is low. When molding is performed under this condition, a recessed part 5 due to the sink mark is formed to the outer peripheral surface of the inner annular part 3 along the peripheral surface thereof and, subsequently, an outer annular part 4 is molded by using the outer peripheral surface of the inner annular part 3 as one constitutional surface of a cavity. The depth of the recessed part 5 is pref. about 0.05-0.2mm. and, when 0.05mm. or less, the outer annular part 4 is easily pulled off from the inner annular part 3 and, when 0.2mm. or more, inferiority such as short is easily generated on the inner annular part 3.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the integration process of a cut piece of a sheet plate and a resin by a method wherein the sheet plate continuously fed is cut with a cutting punch in an injection molding die and cut pieces integrated with a resin injected into the die. CONSTITUTION:A sheet plate 7 having a hole 7a formed beforehand is fed continuously into a cutting punch 5 of an injection molding die and the die is closed being cut so that cut pieces are set into a core (formed with cavities 5a and 9a) of the die. A resin 10 is injected about the cut pieces 7b to integrate the cut pieces 7a. After the solidification thereof, a compound injection molding finished is taken out of the die. This method eliminates the need for setting the sheet plate cut beforehand one by one as well as the need for reworking a part of the sheet plate after the integral molding.
