    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of a V-groove onto a material to be cut by a method wherein a V-groove machining bit is low costed instead of thinning, and even though a high hardness sintered body is used for an edge, a tip part can be easily finished. SOLUTION: In a V-groove machining bit 14 wherein a section almost V- formed groove 12 can be machined on a surface of material to be cut by a method wherein two chip discharge grooves 20, 20 and two edge bodies 22, 22 becoming point symmetry by putting a rotary center C of bit main body 18 between them in a longitudinal direction of the bit main body 18 are provided, and the bit main body is relatively transferred along a material 10 to be cut while the bit main body is rotated; two dents 24, 24 are formed at point symmetry positions putting the rotary center near the tip between them so that a core thickness α near the tip of the bit main body becomes as a whole thin. A slant face 30 slanted by 2-30 deg. to a face crossing at right angles the rotary center is formed at the tip part of the bit main body put by the two dents, and the most tip part of the bit main body is constituted to be positioned by being separated from the rotary center on one cutting edge.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the strength of the end part of the material processed by a cutter to be bonded by providing a fixing means pressing first and second edge tool elements to the other side wall of recessed grooves to fix them. SOLUTION: The press screws 13 of the fixing means 5 provided to the other side wall of each of second edge tool elements 4 is pushed out to each of the recessed grooves 2 in bed metals 1 same in shape. When the engaging groove 15 of the second edge tool element 4 is pressed, the second edge tool element 4 is pressed to one side wall of the recessed groove 2 to be strongly fixed and the movement in a rotary direction thereof is prevented. The axial movement of a first edge tool element 3 is also prevented by the tight fastening of a fastening member 7. When the second edge tool element 4 is cut in wood, the wood is subjected to cutting processing in a notched state according to the shape of the second edge tool element 4 by the ridge edge parts and trough edge parts continuously adjacent to each other of a second main blade member.
