    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a different thickness steel plate without using welding and performing complicated roll gap control.SOLUTION: The method of producing a different thickness steel plate comprises: a roll forming step of gradually performing bend-forming on a steel strip with rolls for forming arranged in many steps while sending the steel strip continually, thereby forming a nearly circular cross-section material having a nearly circular cross-section; a step of conveying the nearly circular cross-section material to a device for forming different thickness composed of a fixed die and a mandrel having a diameter different in a longitudinal direction without welding the end of the nearly circular cross-section material; a step of forming different thickness in the longitudinal direction of the nearly circular cross-section material by removing and inserting the mandrel inside the fixed die; and an unbending-forming step of relieving the bending added to the material in the roll forming step, in order to relieve the bending of the nearly circular cross-section material to thereby form a steel strip.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously drawing a long product capable of a plurality of kinds of drawing in a smaller area than usual by a series of automation, and enabling easy control of the distance between the edge of a plug and the outlet of a dice, and its device. SOLUTION: A dice retention member 14 on which a plurality of kinds of dices 18a, 18b are installed is held movable at the center of an area for reciprocating a long product 20. When the long product 20 is moved from one side to an opposite side making the dice retention member 14 as a center, the long product is put not through the dice but through a piercing space 16 for a long product having a large diameter. Meanwhile when the long product 20 is moved from the opposite side to the one side in reverse making the dice retention member 14 as a center, the long product 20 is put through one dice selected out of the plurality of kinds of dices 18a, 18b. The long product 20 is reciprocated several times from the one side to the opposite side of the dice retention member 14, and every time the long product is put through a dice, the kind of dice is changed by moving the dice retention member 14.
